Recycled Content
Overview
Recycled content is comprised of pre-consumer and/or post-consumer material that is used as a raw material in the manufacturing of products.
Minimum CPF Criteria
Non-electronic products must contain ≥50% recycled content (does not include packaging).
Electronic products must meet category-specific thresholds.

Sustainable Energy Practices
Overview
Certifies products that are made with lower energy impacts during manufacturing, including reduced energy use, less fossil fuel use, or 100% renewable electricity.
Minimum CPF Criteria
Must meet at least one of three pathways:
Energy Usage Reduction: ≥1%
Onsite Fossil Fuel Reduction :≥1% or 20% reduction from onsite generation
100% Renewable Electricity

Certified Environmental Facts
New Certified Environmental Facts certifications are not being accepted into the Climate Pledge Friendly program.
Overview
GreenCircle verifies and certifies carbon footprint reduction in products in the manufacturing stage. These reductions are reflected in a Certified Environmental Facts (CEF) Label.
Minimum CPF Criteria
Requires a product specific carbon footprint reduction in emissions at the manufacturing plant, through energy usage reduction via process improvements or plant upgrades, or transition to increased renewable energy.
