Amazon Climate Pledge Friendly
Overview
GreenCircle verifies and certifies claims that a product is comprised of pre-consumer and/or post-consumer material that is used as a raw material in the manufacturing of products.
GreenCircle verifies sources of recycled materials and distinguishes recycled content by pre- and post-consumer content based on ISO 14021 definitions and Federal Trade Commission (FTC) requirements for recycled content.
Requirements
Product must contain 50% recycled content to qualify for Amazon Climate Pledge Friendly. Does not include packaging.
Timeline
GreenCircle’s Recycled Content certification takes up to 75 business days to complete.
