• Stream Clean-up: Every year we participate in the Perkiomen Watershed Conservancy’s Stream Clean-up event by gathering as a group and removing trash, tires, and other debris from regional land and waterways.

• Backpack and Holiday Gift Donation: We donate backpacks filled with school supplies at the start of the school year and presents during the holiday season to the Lifeline Baptist Community Church. Their program, A Lively Hope, accepts donations for children of parents who are imprisoned and newly released community members. Children who have lost parents or loved ones to violent acts of crime, parents who have passed away while incarcerated, as well as parents who are in rehabilitation services.

Job Description

Ready to learn about the Marketing Coordinator? The Marketing Coordinator is responsible for working in conjunction with the marketing director to traffic, plan, organize and execute client work in a timely fashion. Specifically, this position is responsible for working as part of a team to deliver the strategic marketing plan and to support the development of a comprehensive program that incorporates the appropriate tactics (client marketing support, press releases, website updates, social media, etc.) for the organization. The ability to juggle multiple tasks simultaneously, ensure tasks and projects are done on time and deliver results beyond every expectation is essential in this position. All roles at GreenCircle will demonstrate our core values of Passion (for sustainability), Integrity, Respect, and Resourcefulness. 

Core Responsibilities

• Work with the marketing director to participate in the management of the marketing plans for two distinct sister companies

• Work in conjunction with the marketing director to ensure all work is delivered on time

• Work with the marketing director to plan, prioritize, budget and execute on approved work in 30-day and 90-day planning cycles

• Work on a daily basis to schedule work, ensure deadlines are being met by both inhouse resources and external contractors

• Attend meetings, communicate status updates verbally and in writing

• Develop meeting agendas and meeting materials

• Maintain clear, concise and organized documentation of work and status

• Provide marketing support to clients through conference calls, press releases, social posts, website updates, copy review, and mark usage

• Research market trends in sustainability and technical government standards related to third-party certification of sustainability claims

• Copywriting for press releases, social posts, newsletters, and whitepapers

• Interface effectively with teammates and colleagues in other functional areas

• Pursue a continuous journey of professional development to continuously improve knowledge and skills

• Grow to understand our business/industry and how best to approach marketing in our space

Qualifications

• 3+ years of full-time marketing experience working in a project management role

• Undergraduate degree in Marketing or related studies

• Strong project management experience with marketing, client accounts, and social media

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills

• Highly organized, strong manager of time and workflow to maintain multiple client marketing campaigns simultaneously

• A team player who likes to collaborate and possesses a positive, adaptable, and solution-oriented attitude

• Experience reviewing team-developed content/tactics and providing feedback to make deliverable team-review ready

• Strong professional presentation experience

• Desire to make a difference in the world through sustainable business

• Ability to interact with a diverse marketing team and champion projects across the organization

• Strong proficiency using Microsoft Office

Skills That are an Extra Bonus

• Experience using Canva

• Experience using SquareSpace

• Advertising or marketing agency experience working with clients

• Master’s Degree in a related field

• Sustainability experience
