When Brewer Science makes it a mission to be a company “Of the People”, we consider the impact we have beyond our employees, or customers – we consider the impact we are having on our communities. We continually adapt and improve processes for more sustainable practices, ensuring we are positively impacting the people, the communities we serve, and the environment.
Climate change has a significant impact on geographical locations and the people, plants, and animals that live in those environments. Thus, as an industry, we have a responsibility to accelerate and be intentional about the reduction of our carbon footprint and other adverse impacts we may have on the environment. Brewer Science has been measuring greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions since 2014. We are targeting an 80% reduction of scope 1 and 2 emissions from the 2018 baseline by 2030 and a Net Zero Carbon Footprint by 2050. This will be achieved by understanding our emissions impact so we can identify more sustainable solutions.
